Did they do a black life matters episode? Not mad at it but it's a weird first for social issues if they never tackled them before, especially when pride parades and all the super flamboyant shyt is already kinda ehhhh for a lot of ppl.
Besides that, not a huge fan of any social issues being highlighted by shows meant for very very young children. Be it this, BLM, Asian racism, elections, etc. There's always a time and place for education - and I do believe representation matters a lot which is why I'm not mad at the Rugrats thing or anything, it's great they're showing ppl can grow up well adjusted in a lesbian, single parent, gay, etc home
But this feels weirdly pushy and unnecessary. Even more so with the involvement of a drag queen(don't know if that's coli talk or true). How do you even explain that to a young child? Blues clues is aimed towards 3-5 years old.
Let children be children. You can still teach them tolerance and acceptance without some of this weird, over the top shyt. Look at sesame street; they're able to approach topics in a way more digestible and acceptable way
