The video’s title does its actual content a disservice as we can seen by the responses here lol, but it’s less about the aesthetics of blue/green text bubbles and more the problems with cross-platform messaging. This lands squarely on Apple and people have been criticizing the shyt for years. I guess it makes sense for them as a business but it’s one of the few things I’m willing to label anti-consumer. Much in the same way certain gaming companies dragged their feet with cross-play/save etc.
It’s some shrewd and brilliant ass branding though. Even if this is eventually resolved it’ll still probably take a minute for people to disassociate the “superior” experience with Apple.
