Announcing the dissolution of the DCU when they had not 1, not 2, but FOUR FILMS still to go in that current continuity. Like what THE F U C K were they thinking?!?! They could have easily waited to make any announcements until at LEAST the fall after Blue Beetle premiered.

All they really had to do was bring back snyder and restore the Snyderverse after the success of the justice league snydercut. They had a lay up. Mos2. Justice league pt 2 and batfleck movies would have made 10x more money than any of the trash they put out since firing snyder and the future trash Gunn is about to put out.

Wayyyyyy too many egos involved and bringing back Snyder would have given him too much “unchecked” power like Steve Jobs coming back to run Apple. You gotta understand these CEO’s want credit for the success of tentpoles as if THEY were the directors and when they don’t get it shyt can get greasy. Unless your Christopher Nolan or Jordan Peele, directors whose NAMES sell the movies, nobody gets complete creative control on any film that cost more than $60 Million. Bringing Snyder back would mean the WB executives were wrong about, not only replacing him with Whedon, but everything they thought they could “fix” about the DCU. People would have legit lost they’re jobs if they conceded to Snyder. Important people. Even if the Director’s Cut of Justice League was the greatest film of all time up there with Do The Right Thing and The Godfather, they wouldn’t have brought Snyder back

I hear you but the name of the game is to make money. Not loose money. They could have swallowed their pride brought snyder back and at least made money.

From what i understand Zaslav is actually doing what he promised which is cut 6 billion in debt. Since he used Batgirl as a tax write off i bet there was some reason he didnt do the same here.
