The year 3030

On the second single off their highly anticipated 'Titans In The Flesh' EP, Blu & Nottz go straight for the throat with the speaker-punishing β€œGiant Steps” featuring Bishop Lamont, Torae, Skyzoo, and DJ Revolution.

Blu sets the tone from the jump, spitting dizzying patterns and crazy food-related wordplay on what amounts to one of the more straight-up wild displays of rhyming on the project. He then passes the mic to fellow West Coast heavyweight Bishop Lamont, who takes shots at wack cats who claim to rep their hood but don’t do a damn thing to improve it.

Not to be outdone is the one-two punch of Torae and Skyzoo. The Brooklyn tag-team delivers tough-guy raps in their trademark Barrel Brothers style, which means back-to-back verses of instantly quotable bars and some serious sh*t-talking. DJ Revolution, who provides the scratches through, brings it all home by absolutely going off with a track-ending display of his immense talent.

β€œGiant Steps” (shouts to John Coltrane) is available for stream, and can be downloaded for instant grat off the iTunes’ pre-order link for 'Titans In The Flesh.' The seven track EP is set to drop July 15th through all major digital retailers, via Coalmine Records. Additionally, Easter-yellow vinyl copies will be available in limited supply, and feature the instrumental and acapella passes of β€œThe Man,” in addition to the instrumental for β€œHeaven on Earth.”
