It's interesting because this is probably my least favorite of their albums but it's still great - that's how good their catalog is

Their other albums all have a theme and this one feels more grounded in LA culture and a harder sound overall

It's shorter and not ever joint works but overall an easy 4/5 for me

Good, solid album. Production wise it reminds me of a lot of the solo Blu stuff he was doing after Below The Heavens, sample wise (1940s/1950s). Which means the album lacks in the banger department to me when compared to the other albums. But I fukk with the more mellow, contemplative vibes of these tracks.

Hopefully not for too long, I can only assume it’s going to be for sample reasons.

Edit:

It’s still under Blu section but not under Blu & Exile atm.
