Whether it’s Capela or not, I think going into this season putting all your hopes at center into Rob Williams is a losing plan :manny:

Honestly..im fine with losing this year :yeshrug:

Do i want him to start? No, not really. I just dont think capela is an improvement enough to justify the contract. Hes a generic rim runner

Signing Kemba changes everything. That’s a win-now move.

It doesn’t have to be Capela.

I would have preferred a brogdon-trilly combo but ill live with whatever happens, i have no choice :yeshrug:

Im a uconn alum..ill happily watch kemba for the next 4 years..im just not expecting a finals berth regardless and thats what it all comes down to

I agree with all of this but i dont want capela
I don't want him either if it means giving up one of our core guys. Some fans on reddit were suggesting we trade Jaylen for Capela. I'll be pissed if that happens. Hopefully Danny can get a couple good big men in free agency instead.

Utah is gonna have to get rid of Favors in order to fit Bogdanovic's contract

I would definitely be down with bringing him in

I ain't mad at it. 5 mil a year is a small investment to make for a body in the paint. He isn't that great defensively but hopefully can rebound and score like 8-10 a night down low. Think this is a bridge to Time Lord's development.

Exactly. It's to buy time until Time Lord can become a productive player

And Celtics have been horrible at rebounding for the past 4-5 yrs, this will help

I’m mad at it :francis:

He’s a defensive liability that causes problems everywhere he goes. There’s a reason he’s about to be on his 5th team in 6 seasons.

I really hope Williams is ready to step into a large role.

Williams, Tako Fall, and Kanter ain't a bad Center lineup, not the greatest though. Is Thies still on the team?

Bottom 10 in the league on paper.

Theis is a restricted free agent. May be brought back, but I do remember hearing rumors a few months ago that he wanted to go back to Germany. Regardless, he’s a tweener.

There’s also rumored interest in Vincent Poirier from the Euroleague
