And who will they sign with that $35 mil? :francis:

They'll only sign role players. No top 5 healthy FA is signing with them.

If anything, they should be making a play for Tobias Harris.

Still like Brooklyn better now with no Kyrie or Horford

Okay and Boston has $35 million in cap space too

There roster is far from finished and even still they have

Smart
Brown
Tatum
Hayward

Timelord
Semi
Yabu
Romeo
Grant Williams
Carson Edwards
Water

That’s a younger squad than Brooklyn too

That bench is cheeks

:mjlol:

Unless Hayward returns to Utah form, Celts are a 5-7 seed next season.

Brooklyn could jump into a top 4 seed depending on where Kawhi signs

I really hope Ainge isn’t clearing cap space just to throw the max at Vucevic :francis:

Not after one all-star season in a contract year at 29 where he got punked in the playoffs :francis:

Vucci is in the Middleton category ONE off all star you dont want to get stuck paying for...Both got exposed under pressure...

Both can have huge nights in january but i wouldnt want to be the team paying either 4/140,let orlando and milwaukee do it...

The stoop with dat dope fanny padding
The more I think about it, the more I think we are gonna go after multiple guys that fit the team, the culture, as opposed to blowing all the money on one person.

So under contract we will have

Smart
Jaylen
Hayward
Tatum

most likely all will be starters. If they get a free agent, it’ll most likely be a center, pg, or power forward. I’d have to think Hayward would be the one most likely going to the bench in a super sub role trying to get back to health and making a run at 6th of the year (if he can get back to Utah Gordon).

I’ve heard Hayward been sleeping at the Celtics training facility, so it’s at least a positive that dude is angry and motivated and wants to get back to what he was

That also leaves under contract

Time lord
Semi
Yabu

And then the rookies

Edwards
Williams
Romeo

And grant waters as a potential signee, or two way guy

Max Strauss as a two way guy

Tacko summer league signee with option to translates into two way or roster

In the next post I’ll list some potential mid tier free agency signing guys

POINT GUARD

We have;
Smart
Edwards
Water

FREE AGENTS
Tier 1
Russell
Kemba

Tier 2
Beverly
Rubio
Collison

Tier 3
Bring back Rozier

Personally, I’d like to go back to the days where we had a point guard who prioritized creating for others over getting his own shot for a change

Bobby Portia
Al farrooq amino
Bringing back Marcus Morris
Paul millsap
Nikola mirotic
Thaddeus young
Julius Randle
Tobias Harris
Kevin looney

Bunch of good options here.

Meaning, the two will be entering the start of their primes while these kids are still developing (if they can even make it out the G-League).

These is absolutely no reason to tie up cap space in 3 mid to late 1st-round picks.

I would like them to keep Langford. Everyone else can leave

@KD2222

My hope is to get Beverley & Dedmon at PG/C but I think we’re gonna have a lot of competition.

And unfortunately I think Ainge still believes in Rozier

How about Thomas Bryant at center. Young, legit center height and can be had for about 10mill I think. And then a power forward like Randle?
