Blood IN Blood Out shines the best when illustrating the breakdown of a family and reconciling that through benjamin bratt's guilt for involving his cousin in his gang antics. the death of juanito and the fallout from that really takes hold. however the prison shyt is just one hilarious quotable after another.

beaming with pride as his son wins art award
anguish at death of son
turning his back on his son and embracing his stepson
reconciling

Small role but powerful performance......in a film filled with (unintentionally) comedic performances

They all run off and you hear Spider yell
"Let's party!". shyt always makes me laugh.

Or when they in the alley and Spiders homie is tagging it up, dude in the front seat "Hurry up ese".

Acting in the movie is so bad it's good.
