The following clip is a good example of Billy Gunn being a no-nonsense hardass. Actually pretty excited about this hire.

maybe he can teach them from experience how not to get sonned by someone much superior on the mic such as the rock and have your career flushed down the toilet :heh:

Goldust should put his bid in already. Beat his demons and should be tired of the indys by now
I hope that powerbomb doesn't follow him for the rest of his career :sadcam:

With all the great talent they've signed in the last couple of years I'm not too worried about Billy Gun as head trainer. Half of the roster with real chances to make the jump already knows how to work. They just need a basic course of "WWE style" and a chance to shine.

Chris Hero better hit them weights if he wants a shot on the main roster though :mjpls:

:whoa: nothing at all against Bill. He was their best choice at a time when finding a real, credible trainer was tough. Bill did his job very well and he will be around in the fold for a while. But Billy Gunn just has more chutzpah. I think HHH respects him for speaking his mind. Plus he and HBK/Undertaker have been boys since '93

I was never a fan of dude but I admit he could work in the ring, especially for a big man. :manny:

Let the #Kliqery begin. :ahh:

I think Billy Gunn is there for a reason, IE wrestling related. I also feel as if this hiring might be HHH and HBK's way of releasing some past guilt? Just a hunch.

This. I don't know how he let his boy COMPLETELY out hustle him and get into the big show. Claudio was always in better shape, but he was a lanky dude. Now he looks like a super hero while Hero still looks like a backyarder. You just know Vince is like :what: at the mere thought of having a serious knockout artist character that looks like that.

Even Punk bulked up while he was in OVW before he got his call-up.

Lol at firing the last guy for gay innuendo hazing and then replacing him with Billy Gunn

Thats like if you fire a guy for racist comments and then bringing in PS Hayes

Ain't really got a major issue with the replacement.

Gunn will be good for teaching dudes how to work the WWE style.

Character development is another issue tho
