I always say pac transformed into some type of voodoo preist/medicine man/shaman

During the recording of this album everything was beyond rap it was literally spiritual

This is what they fear about the power of hiphop and why they dumbed this shyt completly down after this album dropped

shyt was scary

"I never knew in my lifetime I'd live by these rules
Initiated as an outlaw, studying rules"

Brehs..I legit have broken down this song for myself many times and only just now caught the meaning of that second line. :wow:

I always thought it was just some lazy rhyming when he repeated the 'rules' part two lines in a row. But the second 'rules' refers to the rules of the dictators that the Outlawz are named after.

Not only that, it refers to the fact that he realizes that even though his pops meant his second rule in a different, more general and metaphorical way, that he has come to live by it in a quite literal way.

"Keep your enemies close nikka, watch yo homies"

He named the Outlawz after his country's biggest enemies and they are his most trusted homies that he keeps close to him so he can watch over them. So in a sense he's literally keeping his enemies close while watching his homies. :banderas:

Yet he still has to look out that his homies stay true to him, in accordance with his pops' advice.

I absolutely love this song but I wish the mix would've been crispier, its a tad bit too muddy for me altho I recon it adds to the song's feel.

the mixing was steller it could be better but for it's time period it was dope imo

but overall the mixing on the album in general was above average.

I wish they could've had Quik mixing the album like they did on All Eyez On Me. :feedme:
I think that would've made this album even better than what it already is. :wow:
