That’s a clip that gets buried behind some of the highlights and box score watching
Dude has flashes of that Mitchell/Booker tier type scoring but most times watching them play I just wanna scream “Just let Sengun facilitate and everyone fell in line” because KG and KPJ outside of dribble dribble chucking don’t lead to good offense

But let @DoubleClutch call it this is Michael Jordan of the 2020s

No system, no player movement, no selflessness, no bucket :francis:
It’s like that every game.

Before they played Denver a Denver scout was in town watching therockets(I dunno why). So he’s taking notes. The knock on the rockets and Silas is they don’t run set. Well the scout has notebook and is detailing whenever they run sets and then somebody who’s leaking at his notes keep seeing him snore a check with a minus. That symbol meant they would run a set but then The set would Be broken up. Houston doesn’t run a lot gm sets tk begin with but when they do based off the notes of that scout, majority of the set plays aren’t ran properly and end up broken. It’s just a poorly ran team.

Before we get good, we’re goin to have to trade for a proven pg because I don’t trust this staff to properly develop one.

KPJ can’t control or dictate pace. Clearly Hosuton needs to play faster but he can’t do that our offense under Silas only looked fluent and respectable During one time period and that’s when Olynyk was running/facilitating the offense. It was night and day with him out there. He became the best of that trade . I was begging the front office to resign him. It’s not always about skill and talent but also it’s about high iq on the floor.

Houston is the most talented team but they have talent but it’s just all jumbled with no direction. They need a floor general.

It’s to the point when I would even consider Simmons to run the offense. Looking at this broken offense is nauseating

Either you need a true pg organizer or you need a strong coach/ offensive philosophy. The rockets have neither. And no vets. Sengun is the only one who looks like he understands how to play on offense and it’s cause he’s a legit pro from overseas. These young dudes need some real leadership

If the Rockets don't get a true PG and continue with KPJ running the show the next coach will have his hands full trying to get the players to run a cohesive offense.

Silas had a chance to mold this young team into what he wanted but too bad it seems he is into 4/5 out iso ball and seems to not like to feed the post even when you have an efficient post player in Sengun.

He was hired to coach Harden and Westbrook the offensive philosophy he duscussed with the GM aligns with what we seeing. The team played better under John Lucas

If they get Wemby only players that will be on this team are players that fit with him which could reset their timeline again
Honestly, scoot would be perfect for them
Jalen and Jabari are safe then. Sengun maybe but Wemby is pretty damn easy to build around.

Wemby would be a good fit. There's nearly zero questions who would be dominating the ball. The question would then be can the current team play off-ball.

Sengun would definitely be the odd man out, if Jalen keeps struggling with his shot then that dude would have to go too.
