It’s insane to everyone. Gonna be funny seeing the leap this team makes after Silas is canned
I feel like the way they are committed has to be from top down. Stone gave him a contract again albeit a wild one so they are committing a dice roll with him. My guess is they get scoot and they kick him back if the draft balls land right

To KPJ credit the last couple of games he’s been deferring more when he’s on the floor with Green. He runs that pick n roll with Fernando really good.

For a playground style, KPj throws the worst lob ever. It says a lot when you routinely mess up lobs to KPJ and KJ Martin. They’re human pogo sticks.

A really good secondary playmaker is a very honest ceiling for Green.

When he passes more his scoring opens up that much more.

Said that a few pages back and firmly believe it. Nearly the entire last week against the Hawks, OKC, etc. up to that first game he had against the Nuggets was a great example (except his shot wasn't falling vs Denver).

I'm also starting to see more and more that Silas may not be the guy. I think one of two things are needed the most in Houston: a veteran or brainy PG and/or a coaching change. I don't think Silas is a bad coach, but I don't think he's the right fit at this point in time.

Doesn't mean get rid of KPJ because dude is a fantastic shooter, but simply delegating him to secondary playmaker while primarily on/off-ball shooter/scorer is where he'll shine.

Draft-wise if you get Wemby/Baba Miller then problem solved. The roster can stay completely as is and simply have Wemby/Miller handle the ball 75% of the time and Green/KPJ/Jabari play off-ball. You get a point guard (I like Anthony Black and Taran Armstrong) and you can start thinking about the 1-3 rotation.

I skeptical about Silas too but one thing I keep stressing is his lineup is nothin but 20 and 21 year old and the one veteran he does play(Gordon) seems disinterested out there. It’s goin be growing pain. The biggest. Display of their age and youth is the turnovers. It’s not just KPJ. Be having 10 turnovers in a quarters. We lose games because of turnovers. But they’re building toughness. They don’t back down. KPJ a bonehead. He needs to be sixth man.
