Time to go!!
His offensive efficiency is higher than Cade . It’s kinda of pointless to use stats for rookies. I’m more than happy with the selection. Dude trajectory through the season has been phenomenal. And more importantly the backcourt fit with KPj seems more than serviceable. They’re starting to really play well with each other. The rockets players know there’s a special situation brewing because none of the vets wanted to be traded away during the deadline. Wood and Gordon actually slumped around that time. Even Schroeder said this is a nice situation to apart of and help grow. The last couple of games have been exciting to watch not because of just his performance but also the shift of the offense. The entire team is actually actively trying to get him the ball. If you didn’t know anything about Green, you would’ve never guess he was lottery pick for Houston when watching because the team wasn’t actively getting him involved. Nothin was centered around him or geared to get him open off of screens. Last night the insiders pointed it out that KPj was instructing his teammates when Green had the ball to go toward him and set the screen. That wasn’t happening before. James worthy from the lakers postgame show made a comment (this was the fourth game game for the season series) about how incredible the progress Green has been from the first game against La back in November to this game. That’s that trajectory we’re talking about. The other Lakers insider said it was the best improvement he’s seen made from beginning to the end of the season for the rookies this year and that Jalen looked like sophomore from a rookieScoring is all he can do. Cade, Barnes, Mobley, Giddey can score and more. And might need to take a look at Cades all around numbers since all star weekend. Mobley and Barnes have been consistent from day one
Jalen actually improved a lot on the Def side of the ball
Yep, his defense is better than kpj in my mind but his size and frame limit his effectiveness
