sorry, but Stivern wasnt ready for this fight. showed up heavy and prepared for a long controlled fight against a guy that was coming to kill him. credit to Wilder, he wasnt playing. didnt even give Stivern a chance to get warmed up. but I just dont see where Stivern came prepared to give himself the best chance.
Basically
You could see Stiverne with frustration and just depression set in on his face.
He didn't even get warmed up. Thing is, Stiverne didn't really change anything. He sat there and let Wilder hit him instead of grabbing or atleast playing possum and countering. He was dazed after the first 1-2 dropped him. If he had held on he could've at least got through the round and got his legs back.
Impressive showing by Wilder though. You can tell he got better during his layoff. Sad it had to be Bermane because I actually liked him as a fighter. Dude was just mentally defeated by him I think even before the fight.
This is one of those things that could send you into depression and drugs
