I cringe when he "handles" the ball. He got the most useless crossovers, spins, and between the leg dribbles I've ever seen. And he does them like it's the first time he's used them in real games. And dude's shot release is fukked up. He releases on the way down.

Dudes clown on Diaw(he deserves it at times), but when he's motivated, he'll give you all star level production.



His IQ and court vision, for a man his size, is some of the best I've ever seen.



I might catch a neg rep, but I've seen that dude control games when he's plugged in.

I agree, but I've never known him to be much of a low post defender. He's only 6'8" and flabby. But he handled Griffin well last night...probably mostly due to Griffin being trash at anything other than cutting to the rim.

BG reminds me of a watered down version of pre-microfracture Amare.


He's more explosive than Amare in terms of pure jumping ability, but in terms of coordination and being able to dominate on the offensive end, Amare had him beat.I know he's falling off, but 04/05 Amare is the most athletic PF I've ever seen.He had the first step of a SG, dumb power like Blake, and could finish with a soft touch around the rim.Athletically,the Amare that was a MVP candidate for the Knicks last year was only about 70% of what he used to be.Amare having to go through two microfracture procedures is one of the biggest tragedies in sports.I'm convinced the league had never saw anybody like that.Only dude that's fukking with him was Len Bias(from the youtube clips that I watched).I know people might say what about Shawn kemp? but Amare had more power IMO.By his 3rd year in the league, he was already a better scorer than Kemp ever was

BG is like a ultra athletic hustle player.I think the league has him figured out right now.


All he has to do is develop that jump shot and work on his footwork.He'd be a cold piece of work if he did that

lets be serious here, Blake Griffin wouldnt make the playoffs ever without Chris Paul. Dude is athletic as fukk with no post up game, no mid range, average to no defense, can barely shoot free throws...shyt is depressing.

I remember somebody said Blake was the new Stat and im just gonna cosign that, dude is gonna be so fukkin 5-6 years from now trying to rely on his blackletics.
