Their strength feats are similar. Weapons and hand-to-hand, Blade takes this easy. The only question is durability. Selene has been inconsistent with her durability (or the movies have anyway). One minute shes passing out from a gunshot wound in the first Underworld the next she can be impaled and still fight. These two vampire worlds are pretty similar so I actually like the debate. Blade wins. Imagine him fully giving in to his thirst. Who in all these vampire movies would be able to stop him?

Seline is nice but she gets lucky in most of her fights.
The Underworld Vampires are weird though, like I was saying before, she damn near drowned when vampires dont even need to breath. And vampires in that world can actually be naturally born, which is also inconsistent with popular vampire lore. And they use guns excessively to survive, with out the guns, the lycons tear their asses up eaaaasy. Selene can fight, she has a few fancy moves. But Blade is a marvel character, and Marvel is all about over poweredness (not even a word) . Here is is skill set, ill try to find Selene's
- Pseudo-Immortality: Blade possesses a form of immortality. Due to his vampire-like abilities he ages slower than an average human, which has allowed him to have a prolonged lifespan.
- Invulnerability: Due to his vampire-like physiology, Blade is resistant to the hypnotic gaze of vampires (known as mesmerism) and highly resistant to other psychic and physical attacks.
- Healing Factor: Similar to Wolverine, Blade has a healing factor that allows him to recover from injuries at alarming rates. His immune system attacks alien substances (chemicals/viruses) and eliminates any chance of him being rendered helpless or maimed from toxicity or infection. The full extent of Blade's regenerative abilities are unknown, but after being bitten by Morbius, he is able to regenerate missing/damaged limbs, tissue, organs, and muscles.
- Danger Sense: Blade has a very rare ability to sense supernatural phenomenon (which vampires do not seem to possess). This has helped him many times at identifying demons, even if they have taken possession of a human being (this is noticeable when a demon possessed a man, Blade sensed the demonic essence coming from him). - Superhuman Agility: Blade's agility, balance and bodily coordination are enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of a human being. His agility is also greater then that possessed by most vampires.
- Hypnosis: Blade has displayed the ability to hypnotize his opponents. He can directly influence the minds of others. He's showcased this ability when he caused Tyrone Cash to revert to from his Hulk-like level, to his human form.
- Master Martial Artist: Blade is Master Martial Artist, proficient in practically every known weaponry and martial art known to man. Blade can easily hold his own against multiple enemies, and can adapt to any fighting style (unarmed or armed).
- Espionage: Due to being a vampire-like being, Blade can not be captured on film, camera, or be seen in a mirror. His superhuman agility and advanced speed allows him to infiltrate compounds almost undetected.
- Intellect: Blade has shown that he has vast knowledge pertaining to supernatural phenomenon, gained by his experiences and decades of living. He has an understanding of the supernatural realm. He no longer thinks of himself as just a vampire slayer, but a demonic reaper. He will do anything necessary to protect what he believes in.
- Superhuman Strength: Although the amount he can lift is not specified, he has overpowered a vampiric Spider-Man, jumped hundreds of feet into the air and ripped the head off of another vampire with his bare hands.

A vampires eyes are usually an electric blue or gold, this seems to depend on who they were turned by, their canine teeth also lengthen into fangs which cannot be retracted.

Selene possesses great physical strength, she is able to lift many times her own body weight, and can strike with enough force to kill a human with one blow. How strong a vampire becomes depends on their age and who they were turned by, Selene being turned by the elder vampire Viktor who is immensely powerful, is likely to have been far stronger than the average vampire even when first turned. As seen in Underworld: Awakening she can now lift approximately eight thousand pounds, she is seen flipping a Van with an elongated back with ease.
Speed
Selene is able to run and react at speeds beyond humanly possible. She can move with enough speed to dodge gun fire, and is even able to outrun a powerful Lycan, that can run many times faster than horses. In Underworld Awakening she cuts the throats of six Lycans in their human forms before they can shoot her.
Agility and Coordination
Selene has shown to be capable of performing complicated acrobatic maneuvers effortlessly. She seems to have a perfect equilibrium and has only been seen to stumble or struggle with physical maneuvers when suffering from blood loss.

She is able to perform strenuous physical activity for great lengths before tiring. After outrunning the Lycan Raze she appeared slightly out of breath, but recovered to normal in seconds. After her enhancement in Underworld Evolution she is several times stronger than her former self.

Selene is capable of this and used it to awaken Viktor when she discovered Kraven's treachery, but due to her inexperience, she left Viktor with incoherent thoughts and images which he found hard to process.

Exactly why I didn't bring up comic book Blade. lol. He's on that same bullshyt that every other Marvel character is. His movie version is a lot more tame (as are most of the other marvel characters).
Yup. And I really like The Underworld universe. I just fill its poorly written and developed. There is no magic, its just a medical virus! So they are still human, they just happen to take on qualities of what ever animal bites them. So essentially they could get engineer the virus back to its first form before marcus and william are bitten, and then have someone get bit by a fukking Tiger or some shyt.
