Blade made $70 million, Marvel only saw $25,000. I mean you can say Blade made comic book movies popular again (which I disagree with cause it was never really marketed as a comic book movie), but I don't think it's accurate to claim the MCU exists because of Blade.

If anything, it's the success of Spider-Man and X-Men and the fact that Marvel saw so little of their profits that pushed Marvel to create the MCU.
Bruh if Blade had flopped even the idea of the MCU would’ve never happened when it did

Yall need to relax and look at the bigger picture. It has nothing to do with studios it was all about Marvel movies. They started making those again because of Blade becoming the success it was, which ultimately led to the MCU.... especially with the use of lesser popular characters for Marvel studios.

Spider-Man and X-Men weren’t unpopular characters compared to Ironman, Hulk, etc.,

90% of the planet that saw BP didn’t know shyt about the character when he first appeared.

Wesley still in shape and he could play an aging Blade as he doesn't want to feed on human blood or another reason why he has aged in real-life...

Without Blade, there would be no MCU....plain and simple...

Maybe but not in the 90’s or 2000’s.

There were xmen cartoons, Spiderman cartoons, etc., but not any Hulk shyt.

Just that bodybuilder dude from like the 70’s

I’m saying he wasn’t as popular as the others and thats facts... not saying he was completely unpopular just not really with non-comic heads

We're not talking about Hulk per se.

Iron Man
Thor
Ant Man
Dr. Strange
Black Panther

Aka the B-Team

Do not get risks taken on them without Blade. A major star took a risk on an obscure character that was a minority and made it into a damn cultural icon.

Snipes gave birth to the MCU.
