Da Gawd Wesley Snipes hardly gets any credit for these movies but if it wasn't for him these movies wouldn't be as good as they were. He produced these movies, brought in his fight/stunt team. Designed the weapons etc. Kept Goyer in check with some of his corny writing. Once they destroyed that formula you get Blade Tragedy aka Trinity. Snipes get's blackballed by being the fall guy by the other producers decisions and mistakes. People like Goyer move on with no problems to get on bigger projects.

Snipes knew blade trinity was gonna be shytty while filming it. Especially since they aint want to wait on del toro to finish up hell boy. fukk new line for trying to blame snipes for that shyt movie and not goyer. shyt thats why nolan had to fukking rewrite his scripts

You would be upset too if you have producer credit and are an actor that signed off on a script that got changed on the fly by Goyer and Ryan Reynolds to make things funny for the MTV crowd. This was Snipes franchise, the first 2 movies were made on the strength of him his star power at the time. Also Snipes also did the same thing on the first 2 movies but nothing happened, since those 2 movies came out good. So as long as a movie makes money you hear crickets. Once the 3rd movie flopped oh "Snipes is a method actor" he's always been a method actor in Blade. It was just an excuse for Snipes to take the fall. Don't believe me check the commentary tracks for the first two movies, with him Goyer. They were like best friends. Then go check Blade Tragedy commentary track with Goyer, Reynolds and the other producers basically bad mouthing Snipes majority of the time.
Goyer wanted to kill off blade then use those others to spin off into a tv series that he would be in charge of
I wish they would of waited for Del Toro to come back. A lot of his ideas from Blade II got incorporated into his Strain Books and TV Show. The original script for Blade 3 was dope that the Vampires finally took over because Blade disappeared. Then he returns much older to fight the vampires. Del Toro said in the Blu Ray of Blade II commentary the story was basically similar to how I AM Legend if they went that route.

Basically the thing with Goyer you need somebody to filter him on his scripts. Usually the director of the movie and Snipes would do it. But on Trinity there was nobody since they wasn't listening to Snipes he had free rain to do whatever since the other 2 movies were good. Check the commentary tracks for Blade II, Goyer was real big stating if they do another movie there will be more car sequences in 3rd movie since the director's cut the car out for the first two flicks. Watch Blade Tragedy the car scene was the first scene.
