The Haitians were well organized and had codes and principles. The black people that go hunting and fishing live in southern states and rural/suburban midwest. Most of the urbanites are toast like the OP said. You all do things on what's 'kool' instead of what makes sense.

Again black people were self sufficient back then. Today what skills do most people have? This goes for alot of groups though. Some how people were tricked into BUYING everything.
In the old days people knew how to make their own clothes and grow their own food and prepare their own meat. Now you got people with 0 practical skills who eat corn flakes for lunch.
But being 'koo' is more important than being practical.
