I really felt like WWE was putting Seth and Roman way over and kinda letting Dean fall by the wayside, but I feel he's definitely caught up in the last 2-3 weeks. The authority booking all this shyt towards taking his US title away, and Dean making his babyface stand has definitely given him a nice push. They're also starting to showcase his personality more, like when he jumped the couch and gave the beats to Maddox like a lunatic.

At this point I don't have any doubt in my mind that all three shield members have secured their main event status for good anyway.

It didn't make any sense whatosever for him to keep it that long. The Shield don't really need championships at the moment because they are over already in all these feuds. Having a championship wouldn't prove anything.

Because thats what Roman is good for. He's not in the Shield to be Rollins and Ambrose. He's there to be everything they're not. To utilize his strength and power in short bursts. He's a closer. You don't use your closer to start a game and go 7-8 innings. He goes in there, cleans up, gets the W for the team who played a good game as well. Everybody's happy.

His teammates have surpassed him greatly.

Only in certain aspects. Ambrose is more well rounded than both of them. Rollins is great in the ring but has average mic skills. Reigns is green in the ring but has a great presence and connection with the crowd. Ambrose has great mic skills and great ring skills.

Many wrestlers 'borrow' some aspects of their actual personalities, amp it up to ten and funnel it into their character. That's not uncommon. I don't get how his erratic character translates to him being all these things you say he is.

It's like when Dean disappeared during Elimination Chamber, you'd probably say he ditches his friends during fights in real life.

But to have both qualities is ideal. Or someone like Mr. Kennedy who had top notch mic skills but was just average in the ring.
