I was moreso speaking to the fact that you could see more lighter skinned Igbos because they’re usually high status, royalty, well connected, etc. Which gives them them more exposure in the first place.

Our caste system wasn't really based on skin tone since traditionally we painted our bodies in colourful chalk patterns, just like they do in the Oceanic territories.
