The only issue with this, is when you're biracial, the envirownt you're raised in matters, as well as how you look and present...

As children, these girls give off "mixed with something" vibes, but they don't look black. So that's one...
All of this. And how people present is the primary factor in how they’re treated. They can be treated white, Black, or other. Rashida Jones and Mariah Carey have talked about people talking racist about Black people to them and not realizing that they’re (part) Black.

Not to mention there’s often a privilege in just having a white parent because of the institutional privilege that parent has access to. Racism is more about systems than everyday one on one interactions.

Because in American history "Biracial" has always been treated the exact same way as Black.

Modern femcels want to kick light skinned women out of the community and it's not happening.
That’s because of white supremacy where anyone with a drop of blood that they see as “inferior” can not be a part of their group.

We don’t need to keep aligning with that mindset.

Biracial people should be allowed to accept both sides of their identity.

I really think the issue is that a lot of black women feel that they are not being represented properly and they don’t want the predominate look of black women to be erased. Biracial women should not represent black women. They should represent biracial women.

I’m lighter skinned but I’m not ignorant to the point of not understanding where they’re coming from. I’m not biracial and that’s where we need to have a distinction. Im a light skin black woman… I’m not a biracial woman.

I agree with your last sentence, but not the rest. The problem isn't just about our issues as women. It's bigger. It's about who 'represents' us politically, economically, academically, black women and men.

Exactly.

But see this is that BS I’m talmbat -

There ain’t no way on Google Earth anybody looked a woman like Rashida Jones…then knew her name was

”RASHIDA

JONES”…

…and then not thought she might not be some kind of Black. That’s a Default Black name they give
a person on a video game.

That’s how she “presents”…oh, and her sisters name is “Kidada”, and her father is not only the first
Black man to run a record company, but made the theme song for Sanford & Son - the Blackest thing ever. Lol
So for anybody to not only think that Quincy Jones’ daughters aren’t Black, but to actually square their shoulders
to walk up and tell them that while they’re with Quincy is both stupid and wild.

…but we will allow it because it ain’t Quincy, it’s RG3.
Then we will wonder why he doesn’t have a Black wife.

I don't wanna hear the pro black talk from people who dont marry black people :manny:
exactly. You dont get to c00n around and date/chase EXCLUSIVELY white women and then turnaround and say my daughters are black. Nah...you clearly have an affinity or fetish for white women so go on and call your daughters white too.

i dont even necessarily disagree with you. However, the other side of that coin is that those same women are white then.

I can sit here and tell you, "Robert Griffin has white daughters" by the very same logic and you would have to agree.

If you plant Apple seeds in a corn field, what kind of tree will those Apple seeds make?

thats like saying Tyrone is the default black name so you'd be stupid to assume a Tyrone is not black. In actuality Tyrone is an Irish name or some shyt and some white people have it too...just like Rashida isnt a 'black' name but arabic.

Funny enough I remember playing madden as a kid and in a franchise mode draft class there was some white player named tyrone. Always found that funny lol
