why was she so eager to leave? its just a speeding ticket. I'll give the kid a break because i can understand that instinct to defend your mom....kid had some balls i'll give him that...i think if the cop didn't have any weapons the kid would be able to take him lol

So much wrong with this. The mother was an idiot first and foremost. Take the ticket. She put those kids through a needless experience, and then endangered their lives bobbing and weaving through traffic on a high speed chase like a moron. If she wrecks and they die, then what? The cop who fired at a vehicle with children in it should lose his badge. An "I'm sorry," won't bring back an innocent kid who lost their life because the adults in the situation behaved less intelligent than children. We all know nothing will come of it, though.



Ironically enough, the grown ups acted like adolescents. Glad none of the kids lost their lives or suffered any harm other than emotional - and that's bad enough.

Why didn't she just take the ticket?

Messing around with cops is like poking a lion, they're gonna win. I feel bad for the son because who wouldn't defend their mother in a situation like that. She put all those kids at risk. And I can't believe that last guy that fired at A VAN FULL OF CHILDREN RUNNING AWAY. shyt shows you: shut up, sign that ticket, and leave.
