Why do yall have to compliment these black women while dissing the black women of today?? Yall wouldn't like it if somebody did that to black men. Pathetic....

They do that to black men all the time. Wanting us to be Shaft and MLK at the same time.

I love threads like these because higher standards were possible.

Her family lived in Mexico for some time. I think her and her sister basically grew up there. But they're Black. Depending on how you define "Hispanic", they could fit that category too.

But then again you have black women who feel like theres a shortage of black men either because they're in prison, gay, players and have multiple baby mothers or don't want marriage. So what's left for them? To stick around in a committed relationship and have a few kids without marriage and hope for the best? Do you feel like that screams happy structured black family to you? There needs to be a shift in thinking. We need to advocate for marriage and the black family, it should be something we all aspire to. And we shouldn't use those who are not fit for marriage and parenthood as scape goats. The goal and focus should be on the black family.

And somehow...throughout this dearth of available men, the black women STILL dream of thugs and gangsters and plan on landing one......instead of taking a look at all of the available NORMAL MEN doing the right thing, looking for a wife, maintaining a house and a job.

I have no sympathy for black women these days.
All they do is complain about their idiotic and ignorant life choices and beg for sympathy and pity when they could have made better decisions.
