Bm and WW coupling get a lot of play in entertainment: music industry, sports and there is fair share of bm/nonbw and some ww pairing in advertising. You guys keep mentioning that Wm hate ww/bm couples. I am sure they do.
Has that stopped bm entering relationships with ww, some cities ir relationships are very common, so much so you almost never see black people together? So clearly wm are not as bothered as you claim.
You guys act like bm/ww couples are never shown that is totally untrue. I am sorry I am neither a bm nor a ww so why should I vouch on behalf a coupling that I am not a part of.
I don't vouch for bw/wm couplings I think overall they are overexposed in media in general. But like I said if you all want to see only bm/ww coupling in advertising than be proactive and write to marketing/agency boards, whining on here isn't going to achieve anything.

Yep, and in all of that he forgot to mention that white women marry out at an even lower rate than black women(%10). But, they're somehow the disloyal ones

Income and education do provide more opportunity to assimilate into the dominant white society via marriage. Multiple studies show black women JUMP at the opportunity to do so.

I think that some people don't realize is that this agenda is primarily being pushed by educated-liberal young black women in the industry (marketing execs, writers etc), not necessarily WM.
There are small pockets of black women who openly recruit and advertise these pairings...and believe it or not, alot of them work in the entertainment industry behind the scenes.
For the most part, I am pretty sure that when you see a BW/WM pairing in a commercial or as a mainstream love interest of a WM in a show, you can bet your bottom dollar that it was one of these natural haired "free your mind" shea butta sistas who were in the board meetings when the ideas were being thrown around.
I can also guarantee you that when they run these advertisements and shows by a test audience, they test very well with the BW in the said group...and i can guarantee you the BW in those groups were purposely put there by these very behind the scenes BW.

This is so ridiculous. There are A LOT of mixed race couples in commercials these days and in TV shows. Why are you singling out BW/WM? A lot of you claim to not care about this couple, but then this thread is posted.
You claim to not care who black women date, but you also don't want that couple to get attention, so which is it? Then you look down at the pairing by saying the BW get the worse of the worse of white men when the differences are marginal at best.

You are choosing to be willingly ignorant towards the push of bw/wm so there is no reason to try and explain it to you. My post doesn't deserve a neg, I swear some of you get your panties in a bunch so easily and i never said you were tripping. Anyway, I don't want white men and I never have, but I don't think this is as big of a deal as some of you are making it. I mean were you as angry when black men were being shown in countless movies and commercials with non-black women...or how in a lot of music videos by black men, black women are replaced by biracial and non-black women. it is what it is. I may be wrong, but I think some black men were okay until the media started showing black women as being desirable to non-black men (whereas before black women were the butt of jokes...they still are, but that is changing).

I don't care about ir relationships I do care about correct black women and black couple representation.
