THIS!!! You rarely ever see WMAW IRRs potrayed in the media in the U.S. even though numbers-wise, WMAW are easily the most common IRRs in real life. It's like they are trying to hide that fact.

The coli taught me only bw looked towards marketing/advertisement for validation. Anyway, I don't know see these types of bw/wm pairings all that much. not that I care either way, my bone of contention are not seeing enough young black couples and having mixed women as stand ins for bw.

What about pandering to men

Pandering to women is proven to be a better financial model for most products because women control the spending for more products in the household.

I've read up on this very thing.
Its the reason why commercials now are designed to appeal to emotional responses whereas older commercials just gave you a list of facts and stats and said "buy based on facts"

For example there's a life insurance commercial that shows a mom crying about her husband dying and bills. Then the son gets a job and is distant. Then the mom confronts him, they hug and cry and say "dad took care of us"
Its made to evoke an emotional response.

An older commercial that would appeal to men would probably give you the statistics, the restrictions, the comparisons with other life insurance models, and give you an empirical reasoning of why you should choose them.

I'm not saying one is more appropriate than the other, but one is definitely more successful..
