i read the reviews and story line before the show premiered, knew it was about a higher level of bed wenching and have never viewed one episode to this day.

There is a good documentary on Propaganda and Edward Bernays (Nephew to Sigmond Freud). If you understood propaganda you would not take shows like this lightly, especially when the becomes popular amongst your community.

I wish I could find the documentary that I watched a few years ago but here is another Documentary on Edward Bernays.
I strongly suggest you take out some time to check it out, just to get a different perspective on the power of media.
