The difference is that women are killed by men than they are by other women. Men are typically killed by other men. And women are typically killed by intimate partners. That's the basis of femicide. The stats have been presented. The original definition meant homicide of women.

If she herself was involved in street activities, this is part of the risk associated with it. It's not any more or less vile than when we see men executed for street activity, it just hits harder because most players in that game aren't women. This happens in everyone's city though, there are women who run the streets like men and the same risks (including being murdered) are there, just like the same rewards are. The women in that lifestyle understand this...
