But to call someone a republican because they criticize democrats and don't criticize republicans is some cult shyt.. I've never lived in a republican state and only lived under democratic authority in my city. So my criticism of democrats come from a local POV, because they've fcked me over the most.. The GOP controlled Albany for a long time and there are plenty of congressional seats from Upstate NY to Long Island that have put a wrench in many of the plans that could have been used to improve life in this city let alone this state.

So no it's not that simple of Dem vs GOP all the time....sometimes but definitely not ALL the time

There are blue states controlled by GOP legislatures that can't get anything done because they always get that shyt shut down

There are many moving parts to politics in this country, and boiling it down to just Dem vs. GOP (even when one side CLEARLY is arguing in bad faith) is how progress actually gets stagnated

We're seeing it right now and we saw it with Obama when he had to deal with Joe Lieberman

Sinema and Manchin might be Dems but they are funded by lobbyists and big corporations to not vote YES on things that could improve the lives of citizens
