i'm the only person in here who doesnt like the beat and im fine with that lol. I love all 3 artists involved but for a 9th Wonder beat i dont like the mix and the beat itself just isnt interesting at all. it immediately took me out of the song and i couldnt focus on the bars because i keep hearing that damn open hat panned 100% to the right.

I hear versatility from 9th in the beat... finally showing his range. If you're a die hard, loyalist fan of fruity loops snare, soul sample 9th, then yeah, the beat is not gonna be your cup of tea. As for me, I've been wanting 9th to show his range more for a long time.

i think thats kinda why i stopped bumping a lot of his stuff...he def didnt show much versatility and you are right that track def shows it. just not a beat i'm into..maybe a week or so down the line i'll fukk with it more

i dont like it either, im usually the first one to ask 9th to change his shyt up, and he did...but i dont like it. i get that its a simple backdrop for the mc's to work but id like to see it remixed

I don't think the beat is horrible, it ain't the the best or worst I've heard from 9th. @Pinyapplesuckas like you I got sidetracked and couldn't focus at first because the beat sounds like a lo-fidelity version of this
