I honestly thought the creepiest thing about the film was the mom.

Plus I loved that random scene with the old guy on the subway.

The scene when she's playing with herself and her mother's sitting there watching, gave me the impression that mayber there was something sicker to their mother/daughter dynamic.

When she turned into the swan :bryan:

Yeah there is also the bit when the mom comes up to Nina's room and says "Are you ready for me?"

Nah, I thought that right away too, watching too much SVU, and true crime books, I do, but the molestation themes were definitely there, I thought. Plus, she had that door blocking routine, probably because the mom was coming in there one some late night creep type thing.

The thing with Black Swan, for me, was it was just relentless, no comedy, no relief, just nail biting, (literally) tension throughout, dread, unease, was just brutal.
