  • Papiss Cisse has split from beauty queen Rachelle Graham, according to reports.

    The 28-year-old striker is said to have ended his relationship with the former Miss Newcastle, 22, to concentrate on his game as the Magpies make a dismal start to the new season.

    The pair were seen at a series of high-profile functions over the summer as they worked together to fund an ambulance in his homeland of Senegal.

    Rachelle, who is from Edmunbyers in County Durham, even took on a stomach-churning skydive to raise £600 for Friends of Sediou, a cause close to the striker’s heart.

    But sources claim the couple are ‘no longer an item’ and the players is aiming to ‘concentrate on his football’ and put his recent controversies behind him.

    Rachelle initially denied the split and has told The Chronicle people are “jumping to conclusions” after “hearing one thing”.
