It doesn't make sense for us to see such vitriol against black players but you have to understand how serious soccer is to a lot of these countries. I'm not excusing the racism just clarifying why it comes out in something as harmless as sports. Soccer (football) is life or death to some of these South American nations. MJ is a huge figure but Diego Maradona has a religion, Pele would stop wars, when a club gets relegated there are riots for days, and lives have been lost on the outcome of matches......its insane actually. If a black player can be unsettled they will say and do anything to make them fail so if you really want to hurt them then make them lose it will shatter their souls.
