Apparently black people have no issue with a 40 year old men promoting violence and criminality amongst their children. When I see stuff like this I smh when some of us ask why "we are where we are". You'll hear many negroes talk about the legacy of slavery and jim crow. The "system of white supremacy" . You'll hardly ever hear anyone even partly attribute to the fact we a have a highly self destructive sub-culture that is tearing away at the psyche of our youth. And even more disturbing is that much of this culture you guys love to promote and defend so much is directly linked to those who promote the "system of white supremacy" . As far as I'm concerned Rick Ross and Future should be looked upon a sellouts and turncoats. But black people specifically black men, don't have gull nor the balls to call out blacks who are actively engaged in the destruction on their community and children.




Oh I forgot its "just entertainment" . Wasn't Birth of Nation just entertainment? Wasn't the propaganda Hitler promoted against the Jews in Germany initially considered "entertainment" . You guys are setting your children up for genocide and you don't even know it. And the worst thing is, is that there is no need for black face or some silly cartoon characters to promote a negative image of us. We have empty headed negro adult males who'll willingly exploit and degrade their own people for profit. And the majority of black people bat not one eye.

I agree with this especially it being used as a tool to suppress intelligence among black youth. Given the current climate in this country and the dire economic mishaps our people face , our youth should be the one's speaking out and putting in the work for the betterment of our people.. I strongly feel that this sub-culture of decadence was engineered to silence and pacify our youth from rising up. Instead of their energy being used to better their community , it is used for the destruction of themselves and their community. Have you even realized that almost every current movement to raise awareness and better the black community is done by older black people? In normal circumstances this is something the youth would be doing. And if you look at past movements (Black Panther Party , NOI) , they were generally started and embraced by young people.
But because our youth are essentially brainwashed to embrace degenerative behavior they generally lack the will or empathy to better their people or speak out against any injustice. There is also a great deal of low self esteem amongst our youth. How can any black boy feel proud of who they are seeing 30 - 40 year old black men on television looking and behaving like complete clowns. How can our young girl feel any sense of pride when they see adult black women walking around with injections, blonde weave and deplorable attitudes. In almost every facet of so called entertainment blacks are hardly ever portrayed as people with any merit or true value to society. We are portrayed as being a people with ABSOLUTELY no redeeming qualities. The agenda is real and we have fallen for it hook, line and sinker.

The problem isn't the music but the parents. My mother personally copped albums like the Chronic, Doggystyle, Ready to Die, and many others. I was 11,12, and 13 when those albums dropped. It was okay tho cuz I grew up in a stable environment and knew right from wrong. I had positive people to look up to and was able to realize that it was just entertainment

Exactly. When you dont raise your children, other people will. More black youth need positive parent figures or role models. Without that structure, they end up wanting to be like the entertainers.

I respect ya post bruh, but this is something that NEEDS to be discussed in our community. We cant just continue blindly accepting this as "just entertainment". Rap culture was INTENTIONALLY manipulated to where its at now. Its being used as a tool of systemic oppression to keep the most negative stereotypes of the black race alive. We are NOT all aware of "media propaganda". Thats what hiphop is being used as. A weapon to destroy the image of the black race. Matter fact, there needs to be MORE threads on this subject. Its killing our pride and our love for each other. Its far more serious than most of you realize. It is the extreme OPPOSITE of "entertainment".
