absolutely nothing positive, inspiring or motivational. same songs about moving dope, materialism, degradation of women, booty shakin, and being bout dat life :snoop:. segments like Paternity Test Tuesdays and here in Atlants there's a segment on 107.9 where they actually encourage ppl to call in and shout out their side-pieces:why:. black radio is straight up embarrassing to listen to if your eyes and mind is really open to whats going on

and here we go :snoop:. this isn't about ME. im 31 a grown ass man so it doesn't affect me. I just realize how it affects the youth and how it makes us blacks look to the rest of society. one has to be a complete idiot or just young to NOT realize it

Black entertainment is sickening. Absolutely no positive depictions of blacks on the radio, the television, or the big screen. We are thugs, gangsters, c00ning comedians (I see you, kevin hart :sas1:), or sidekicks for the white hero. But you know what? A lot of black people are listening to these radio stations. That's the problem.
and the most frustrating part about it is that nobody seems to even care or even notice!! you come off as a lame if you try spitting knowledge to cats in real life. especially here in Atl where everybody trying to live that Love And Hiphop life

One of the reasons I always tell my boy "no!" When he tries to convince me to come down to Atlanta. I think a lot of us care, but we are drowned out by the stupidity. It's overwhelming.

What is so sad is how damn near every young black male out here is trying to look like these cornballs.

Breh, I was just sayin this earlier to my girl.. Pop Radio is 10x better IMO (never thought I would say that) But look at any pop radio stations top 10 I bet atleast 6 songs will be some uplifting, feel good music with a message. Put yourself in the shoes of someone not of our culture. WE LOOK AND SOUND LIKE SAVAGES. :beli::snoop:

there's probably not much we can do man. ignorance and "ratchedness" is too ingrained in our culture. only a small % even realize a problem exists. and on top of that we don't own shyt.:snoop: and as long as these rich jews and whites continue to break artists like Young Thug, Bobby SchMURDA, Chief Keef, Trinidad James, 2Chainz with money and fame to influence the black youth then the problem will continue. what young dude from the hood is gonna turn down fame and money to rap?? when those cats flame out the record label owners will draft the next hot youtube sensation to take his place and the cycle will continue. and whats really sad are these rappers whose been in the game for years and are out the hood livin comfortably sitn on millions STILL spreading filth ie: Lil Wayne, T.I, Puff etc. what we need is for someone with ALOT of influence to clown the hell out of hiphop and everything it stands for. Imagine if a reporter asked Lebron James, Richard Sherman or Cam Newton what type of hiphop they listened to before games and they responded ":what:hiphop is wack im off that. I need intelligence in my music". we need a moment like that
