You say that you understand racism and how it has impacted our community throughout this country's history, then turn right around an try to equate referring to whites as cacs or cracker with racism and hate. To me that illustrates that you don't really understand what racism is and how it has impacted our community in the past and how it continues to impact us today. The difference between the terms cracker and ****** has been explained ad nauseum on this site. People will acknowledge the difference between the terms, then go on and try to equate them anyway. ****** references hundreds of years of systematic and institutional oppression. ****** references the white supremacist ideology that this country was founded upon. ****** references white people Enslaving/killing black people. That's real hate. Cracker/cac doesn't reference any of that. You cannot equate blacks referring to whites as crackers/cacs with hate and racism because there's simply no evidence to support that claim. There has never even a time in this country's history where blacks as a whole have been racist towards whites. On the other hand, white supremacy has been instituted and ingrained in this country's system since the beginning. I see why white supremacy continues to be maintained in this country, non whites go along with perpetuating it.

Petty name calling is just that, petty name calling. If all we had to deal with is white people calling us ******s, then there wouldn't be anything to complain about.
