I watched the Destiny Angryman video last night and it was absolutely embarrassing. Angryman didn't have a strong command of his own talking points and ultimately had to bring in TWO OTHER brothers as an attempt to tag team Destiny.
The worst part is that at the height of the video Destiny was able to successfully position himself as the only defender of Black women in a call with three Black men.
If you can find the entire video on a Black platform and have a bit of free time, I would encourage you to check it out.
So I watched it and it was embarrassing. But people have to realize why it was embarrassing. The bw-hating talking points have been easily refutable since the start of this major trend in the early 2000s. Matt you know that you and I have been refuting and debating a lot of this shyt for years on this very site.
The reality that a lot of “stats” pushed in these spaces and conversations are actually so silly and easily refutable that it ends up making these content creators look very, very, stupid.
“Bw sold out the community by choosing government benefits over the black man.”
What?!
“Bw force their children out at the age of 18. If they’d just let their kids stay in the house until they are 80 like the Indians/Hispanics do (allegedly), we could be set up for wealth and property ownership.”
“Bw fukk and make biracial babies at a gazillion times black men do.”
Huh?
“80/20 rule! Most men childless because women only screw 20% of men!”
What?
This stuff used to be spewed low-key behind the scenes amongst a minority of black men. But now that it’s hit mainstream, all the lies and myths are vulnerable to actual fact-checking by professionals and none of these silly lies hold up.
Also a lot of the content gets popularized by inviting unintelligent posters to these shows for views. Manosphere content creators can control narratives on their own shows, but put one of these people in a real debate platform with experts in the fields who actually do research and it’s a wrap.
I’m actually thinking of starting a podcast or show to clear the air on a lot of lies that have been peddled about black women in the media using research and statistics. I could systematically break down these lies if I really had the time. But life is busy these days. But somebody really needs to start clearing the air. We can’t get to real solutions if we just lying on each other. And it goes both ways. “Black men abandon they kids.”
Meanwhile several studies demonstrate otherwise.
