Some local television station with limited viewership is not what I would consider a major media platform.

manziel actually runs more than RGIII did and nobody questions his ability to read defenses, and he's in his second year not even touching why RGIII did
also known of the black qbs in the league right now are running QBs, they just get extra yards on broken plays, and Cam near the goal line because of his size
RGIII never had a full season to comeback from his injury, he never got a chance to work the rust of or get into rhythm to get his confidence back
yet guys like Carson Palmer can be trash for the majority of their career until they finally get into together with a great supporting cast around them
