That's how it be, these programs were never intended to primarily help folk, given the data its pretty obvious or folk would at least be number 3-4. Without even researching we just know brehs finna be last and I can bet you there's even a decent gap between sistas hired in these programs vs brehs.
They don't want blk folk period but they scared shytless of ever allowing qualified brehs to be on these comfy, high paying govt jobs and other lucrative roles. Then when you get in these roles they target the hell outta ya.
I remember when I was still in Corp and we exclusively worked from home during covid. These motherfukkers were so anal about me having my camera on in particular and steady tryna enforce little petty just to have control or frustrate a brotha
That was the final straw before I pivoted to working for myself and it was the best decision i made in my life.
The facts are they'll begrudgingly hire a very qualified brehs in these higher up positions and if you do get the role then best believe you still gonna have to deal with microaggressions and passive aggressiveness.
Blk folk in general. That's we especially gotta strive for entrepreneurial opportunities after working for a while. Easier said than done and unfortunately blk be too content simply getting that well paying salary even if they getting mistreated since we be going through bull sht in America job or no job.
