A documentary on Marcus Garvey, but I've time stamped the most important part. The highlight of the black destructive mentality.
FactsYou're gonna learn that the black intellectual/bourgeois crowd are the most envious, cunning c00ns in existence.
But the documentary does point out legit flaws in Marcus Garvey's movement/character.
As you get older you just learn that most black leaders had great strengths but fatal flaws that brought them down.
But once you stop treating them as messiahs and as black men that had some great ideas for us to build on, those flaws stop bothering you as much.

The issue is that black people are following (and critiquing) the man, rather than the mission.
All people will have flaws & most will have an inflated ego with any semblance of power. But the question, for me, do you agree with the mission. For me, I completely agree with a large part of what Umar says & his mission to build a school with a heavy pro black message for black boys.
More than that, I think Umar is genuine. He’s just too prideful to get the help he needs to pull this off.
BingoToo many black people want to be accepted by everyone but blacks. They want white love, Hispanic love, Asian love, and even bi-racial love. But they're at black love. Our community is filled with a sad group of people who hate being black.
when we start engaging in black culture in black household across the hood, rather then engaging in bootlicking activities like watching espn or playing with out iphones, maybe things will change for us
