Just because shyt isn't where we'd like it to be doesn't mean it's the exact same. I'm getting tired of y'all saying this. Yes we're still unequal. Yes we're still facing a bullshyt system we are not in the same position as 1816, 1916 or 1966.

AAs were the underclass in 1816
AAs were the underclass in 1916
AAs were the underclass in 1966

Take some pills for your delusions because I'm not about to play the semantics game with you.

At the beginning of mean streets
Imagine thinking the best AAs could do is the BS of the past 60 years and being afraid of the unknown that comes with change even if the end result might mean changing our fortunes.
The concept is mind boggling. How do you defend HRC? Do they have amnesia?

It makes me feel hopeless.

Donald Trump's presidency has exposed you. The charade is over. Black people are more invested in the status quo and White supremacy than White people themselves.

White people are right to ignore your whines about racism. It was never about racism, but a bigger seat in White society. They could give us reparations tomorrow to build our own society and you'd give it right back to them to build it for us.

Melanin, afros, your love of Africa...the nonsense stops now. You don't love your Blackness. You love being the underlings of White society and the petty luxuries that come with it.

Just look at this poster in fear that 60 years of integrated society with us at the bottom might be experiencing a radical shift:

You would be more than content to have 1000 Obama and Clinton type presidencies even if it meant being the perpetual underclass in America and Africa remaining the "dark continent.".

Here is proof. Look at how many people dapped this silly shyt:

Same punks talking about "Amerikka", sporting Micah X and Colin Kaepernick avatars, and screaming about gentrification. The ancestors are disgusted.

While white supremacist got in formation and war ready, you cried about movies, did peaceful protest, and now your sign petitions to get white supremacist HRC in office. You even have silly fukkers coming up with future Democratic candidates as if that party is going to save you.

Mourning over White society like you were actually a member. Clowns, all of you.
you make a few sound points but it's hard to take seriously from a idiot who cherishes and defines the AA identity on based on the percentage of alleged cac mixture:camby:

AAs were slaves in 1816. AAs could not vote or enjoy public amenities in 1916. And could barely do that in 1966. If you think you have as bad as your great-great-great-great grandfather, you need to take some pills of your own.

What will you do if Helter Skelter doesn't happen and this cataclysmic change you're looking for doesn't come?

Every group of people have experienced more "rights" and a "higher quality of life" by this logic so no one should complain, right :patrice:

The point is that AAs have received the least from this improvement in "quality of life" and "rights" and are still the underclass :patrice:

You are basically proving my point about being content with being the underclass of White society if it means a few petty luxuries here and there :snoop:

I think the point is that, even with all that progress one thing remains the same.

Black people are at the bottom of American society.

But you've said there's no progress. Which is lie. I never said we weren't still at the bottom. Like I said, when America doesn't crumble soon enough for you, then what?

I don't disagree with that but he said there's "no progress"...that's simply not true and insulting to our ancestors who lived through those times and the figures who pushed for and made the progress, as small or large as you think it is, happen. To say there's no progress would be ignoring them.
