Sounds like my experience in Paris, lolI bet but let me rephrase my comment. If you're in the Tokyo area, they'll think all black people are Africans because 75% of Africans are on some other shyt up there. Down here in Yokosuka, the locals know that the city is kind of a mid Japanese city (which makes it an American 6/10), so any black people there are almost always U.S. military.
Generally speaking, Japanese people are passive aggressive, so the most that you MIGHT get is them staring at you.
But yea, I enjoyed my experience in Tokyo when I went. One of the few cities where I went out at night, and the sun came up and I was still on my way back home, lol. (Vegas, NYC, and Cancun are the only others)
