I know that Robert Downey Jr. is Damn Near 50 but so are Triple A & MJW. I just am always Lost when these Older Gods get thrown in the Running for these Roles of Comic-Book Heroes, I just naturally think that this Role should be a Younger Dude unless 1 of these Gods were going to be the Role of T'Chaka.

He should play T'Challa's father who passes the throne to his son. You could easily make this a prodigal son story....T'Challas goes to America as a child to learn but says cuz these bunnies love the chocolate. shyt goes down, shield is involved, and T'Challa decides to don the mask to defend the land he turned his back on.

The entire Point of Wakanda is that they're FAR more advanced than other nations. Why the hell would T'Challa need to come to the US to learn anything? The character resonates more if all of his knowledge and training come from his homeland.

I would prefer a young upcoming actor to play Black Panther. The same way the found Chris Hemsworth to play Thor and jumpstart his career. The big question though still looms, will Marvel even make a BP movie. Hmmmmm Phase 3 maybe? Seriously though after phase two is complete they need to fall back on another Cap, Iron Man and Thor sequel and try to get Dr.Strange, BP and other heroes on the big screen.

cuz he did in the comics and the ultimates version came to America cuz he was sick and shield helped out. Just because Wakanda is advanced doesnt mean its ppl understand how the world works.

They retconned that bullshyt a while ago. As it stands now he got his education in Wakanda and the Nation has been advanced for thousands of years.


And that Ultimate Black Panther stuff is straight garbage. Another case of Jeph Loeb doing shytty work with black characters.
