They aren't crazy about it either and nor are the white folks. But I would assume that most of the black athletes at those schools don't date white girls. From my exp there the schools discourage it and the state isnt as I integrated so you don't see a lot of interracial couples like in other states. Usually it was known that athletes were smashing the white girls but dudes would keep it on the low.

It is the deep south and there are places where black folks can still be harmed for that shyt. Also there are certain places as a black person you shouldn't even be driving in at certain times of night. Cause if the popo or one of them good ole boys catch you slipping you can get got.

I have always enjoyed myself there because the black folks stick togeter and the white folks let you know where you stand from jump. So that way ain't no mix up in shyt and this false reality like where I grew up in Chicago. Or where I live now in Dallas.

In the midst of an interview with a Dallas-Fort Worth radio station, Sanders was asked yet again about allegations that the charter school he co-founded, Prime Prep Academy, was engaging in illegal recruiting to bring players in for its football and basketball program. His response was to play the race card and blame all the negative attention the school has received on a white reporter whom he called an "African-American killer."

Almost and did are two different things. You do know that HBCUs produce the most black engineers and lawyers in the country right? You know prairie view is one of the best engineer ing schools in Texas and the south.

The whole diversity thing in Dallas is a joke and can be dangerous for Black people if they don't pay attention. Diversity isn't always a good thing, especially for Black people.

Yeah man I saw that from the get go. The city has the diversity of back home chicago, but without the neighborhood segregation. But still the same issues exist and just don't come to the surface because of the good economy and there isn't such a large separation between the haves and have nots (like Chicago).

There are still areas here where black folks aren't welcomed whether it is highland park or way out in Greenville. But DFW has that illusion of inclusion.

Also the poor treatment of blacks at those schools are the reason most black who are fans of white schools are fans of schools outside of the state.

Another thing the black folks there are very prideful of the HBCUs there and it is a beautiful thing.

You are thinking of Sylvester Croom. Ole miss has never had a black football coach. The thing is Southern Miss is considered the little cousin of Miss St and Ole Miss. But southern miss has always had a better standing with black students when compared to the others white schools in Mississippi. Now that isn't saying they haven't ha issues to involving race.
