Actually a lot of the times they're pretty close to each other.
They may have different upbringings likely due to SES but largely they aren't too different
in my personal experience. What brings them together is their shared interests
and in any group of people (White, Black, Hispanic, Asian etc.) they largely stand out.

I've met "Nerds" (I'm a computer science major who'll likely double in Engineering) who have great hygiene,
that are average to good looking, excel in mathematics and physics and/or geek out about Startrek,Star wars, league
of legends, magic the gathering and various other Geeky/Nerdy stuff.
Also being a Nerd doesn't necessarily mean you're "ugly" on top of that "REAL nerds" sounds like a no true scotsman fallacy breh.
This is fukking bullshyt because it presupposes that there are hardly any black (men) people WHO ARE NOT
"Thugs,Playas and/or Bad boys".Which is obviously fukking false because there are far more Black people
who are "Normal" than there are Black people who are legitimate "Thugs".
