First playthrough, I had some trouble and had to do some leveling to beat Duskvell and Loong but from then on it was smooth sailing (outside of resetting my sparks for certain bosses like the creature fighting in the lava).

But after that, it was smooth sailing right up until the Great Sage's Broken Shell. This PoS barely takes damage when I hit him in his second phase. I beat the first phase with no damage, and he stole my gourd from me twice when I tried to heal during the second phase.

It's the first time in madd long that I've decided to backtrack and see if I missed any secrets, because I need to level up and increase my damned attack. I'm so close to the end, and now I'm grinding again :mjcry:

The cinematic at the end of Chapter 3 is straight truth, unfortunately :manny:. Hate to say it, but that's message should ring in the ears of those in the black community who are too excessive with the "giving back to the community" rhetoric. What happened to that creature will happen to you too if you don't use wisdom when giving. Stop being naive.

It took all damned weekend but I did it. I beat the Great Sage's Broken Shell, then I went to the Pagoda for the final showdown with Erlang. That fight was tough, but not half as bas as the Great Sage's Shell. So, I got through that and finished up...

Then someone told me that in order to get the proper ending, I had to beat Erlang first and THEN the Great Sage... :mjcry:

Is this true? If I stomp through NG+, do I have to beat all the secret bosses and Erlang again? Or can I speed run the main story and get the proper ending since I beat Erlang on my first run?

New game+ has been surprisingly enjoyable :ehh:

I'm back to Chapter 4. Yea u become OP to an extent, but after researching the lore and understanding what's happening it makes u appreciate this game even more.

I've also gotten alot better with thrust stance, I barely used it my first playthrough :leon:
