First East Coast album I ever bought and the album that I credit for opening my ears to all the east coast albums I got into after that. It was really the remixes that got me but still. Prior to this album I was playing nothing but The Click, E-40, NWA, Spice 1 and so on.

Side note:
These anniversary projects really put the timeline in perspective. I always assume I was older than what I was, and in some cases I would have been cause the lifespan of an album was so long but 30 years ago would have only put me at 12.

Classic shoulda went gold.

One of my favorite albums of all time. I was listening to mostly West Coast shyt at the time but when I saw that "How Many MC's" video I copped the album soon after. I saw "Who Got The Props" prior but "How Many MC's" was the one. Still in heavy rotation.

Damn classic... One of my fave albums. I still remember getting the CD (I was late) and plaing it for the first time. Buckshot was one of my fave MC's for a minute.
