I somewhat agree with you. If he is too much into it and nothing else is important to him then you're right. If he thinks about these things but it isn't where most of his time and energy goes then he's just someone who can see the whole picture and likes to look good. Dressing nice is not that hard if you're a thinker, in fact it's fun to put together things that don't belong together and make them become one new style of dress. This is what Hip Hop is in my eyes. I'm like that and I'm far from being fruity. If I see something that looks nice like a watch or belt, I will get it and see what I can wear with it and make them go together right. Now I won't flaunt it on some look at me type shyt, I will just show it in a subtle fashion. If you're with a man who will get that belt or watch because of the name brand and go all out to get it and let everyone knows he he has it which means it will not look stylish at all, then you have someone with low self esteem who will most likely beat your ass if you get out of line or hurt you in some sort of way. Being fruity is the last thing you need to worry about.

BTW, these nikkas out here do not know how to dress. They will tell you they have on all these name brand clothes but the shyt looks like stuff they had years ago, beat up, small and no type of ill style to it just some regular shyt. The type of fit they were is corny too. The arms on the clothes be small while the core of the shyt is a little baggy looking like some shyt crackheads used to wear thinking they was fresh. I wonder do they look in the mirror before they buy the shyt. I thought if you spend your money you want to look clean and fresh. shyt is crazy.

To me swag is looking and being ill without looking like you are trying to do it. If someone has those clothes on but is rocking it right he can have more swag then someone who is rocking the new fad but trying too hard to be seen. Don't forget that what people dressing in now isn't really knew but a throwback to the '80's and early '90's(slim pants, shirts, and snapback hats).

Wouldn't it be better to buy six jeans for $50 each then one for $300 because you can have different jeans to wear for almost everyday of the week which means they will last longer and you will look like you have a lot of money for gear due to always have a new clean set of jeans as opposed to the same pair for 5 years which will eventually start looking dingy?.
