The COLD HARD TRUTH. Is that a lot of our people seem to refuse to admit or understand, is that the core reason for racism/colorism especially towards people of african decent is that they don't view us as humans. I refuse to seek exceptance or even give an excuse for that sort of bigotry.

I was offering a simple retort to the topic at hand. If your black, your experiences with folks that aren't black are liable to be varied.
Ironically, my very first post on this board was about me lunching on an Indian chick my freshman year of college.
A good friend of mine growing up was Indian...him nor his sis had problems with black folk, but his 7-11 franchisee parents couldn't stand me and a couple of my boys growing up.
While I am not trying to use my circumstances as anecdotal evidence, I am using it as anecdotal evidence...my experience has been, unless they were FOB, they didn't have to many problems if you present yourself in a respectable manner.
