Just had an epiphany, why don't people base serious dating on whether or not a potential partner votes? Odds are, the voter is smarter, educated, empathetic, better off financially, fiscally responsible, etc. I could go on and on but comparing the voting population would probably see to the starkest of contrasts.

I always said I would never seriously date a woman that wasn't in tune with politics, for a multitude of reasons, and she would definitely lose her mind hearing me rant about it, but what I just considered further emphasized that point.
